A Beacon marks a territory in the physical world.
Here, the people in the room come first.
Analog emerged as a way to move effort out of constant conversation and into the environment, so shared time could feel calmer, lighter, and more natural. That is also why we decided on a physical artifact. We call them Beacons, and they belong in rooms, not on screens. It works quietly in the background and stays out of the way. Because when space carries the boundary, people can stay with each other. Our goal is returning technology to its proper role as support tool rather than distraction.
